Parting words.

Here I am at the airport in NYC waiting to catch my flight home. It was a great time and definitely seems like it was perfect timing as it sounds like spring has spung back home.

As I mentioned the cab ride from the airport being windy and hilly, but the van we were in was quite comfortable and I found it mostly relaxing. The way back was a nightmare.

“This?? This stinkin’ pit?!”

We chose this morning to head out on an excursion through the hotel that promised to hit all the highlights of the islands. The Pitons, the Volcano, the Botanical Gardens as well as some snorkeling as well as a look at the mud baths.

Today started with a nice breakfast with a beautiful view of the bay. 



Ad. Den. Dumb.

Dinner ended up being very nice last night. Once again we dined at the hotel and I had a very tasty Cornish hen while Salty had a red snapper, which is native to the surrounding waters.

Totally Chill.

Today began mid-morning with a nice breakfast buffet. Afterwards, we headed to check out the beach to make sure it was still beautiful, and yes, yes it was.

About two weeks ago, after being frozen and sick of the snow, I texted my good old friend Salty and asked her to “find us someplace warm to go.”
