The Boys

The one thing both of us are DREADING about the trip is leaving ‘The Boys’ behind. The longest we have ever left Billy behind was when we were at the Olympics–2 weeks. Buster has only been left for a couple of days. This trip will take us away from our boys for 12 days. 12 days without those 4 brown eyes watching my every move. 12 days without seeing their cute little tails waggle and their little butts wiggle when they walk. How it all got started.

As you know, this was the year of my 40th Birthday.  It is a milestone year and Hitch began talking to me about what I may want for my big day.  I didn’t really care, but I started to tease Hitch that a new car would be nice.  My ’09 VW Touareg is perfectly fine (now that we have replaced just about everything on it the first year), so it wasn’t really anything that I was seriously looking to trade in. Expired!

The other day Hitch was mentioning how he was worried about his drivers license expiring months in advance. He is organized like that. On the other hand, I hadn’t thought about mine in years. Slow Moving…

Slow Moving…

We are heading to Berlin on July 4th to begin our European Delivery of our new Porsche Cayenne. We pick up the car at the Leipzig factory on July 8th so we will be spending a few days in Berlin before we take the train from Berlin into Leipzig. I booked us two 1st class tickets that cost a total of 79 Euros. If you booked the day of the price was double so I got the early bird fare. Let’s see if I managed to decipher the website correctly and we get on and off at the proper train station. Continue reading

Where do you start?
